Treatment

Care that starts with understanding you

An in-house treatment programme for stress, alcohol and substance abuse, and addiction — tailored to each person and built around the family.

What we treat

Support for the whole person

Addiction rarely stands alone. We look at what's underneath, so that recovery can last.

Stress & emotional strain

When pressure at home, school or work becomes overwhelming, we help you understand it, manage it and find your footing again.

Alcohol abuse

Structured, compassionate treatment for people whose drinking has started to cost them their health, relationships or peace of mind.

Substance & drug abuse

Treatment and rehabilitation for dependence on drugs and other substances, with support that continues beyond the first steps.

Gambling

Betting, gambling machines and online platforms can take hold as firmly as any substance. We treat the compulsion itself along with the debt, secrecy and broken trust that build up around it.

Tobacco & nicotine

Smoking and vaping are among the hardest habits to stop alone, and often the last to be addressed. We support you through withdrawal and through the daily routines that keep it going.

Pornography addiction

Compulsive pornography use is rarely spoken about, which only deepens the isolation. We treat it confidentially and without judgement, including the effect it has on relationships.

Addiction & mental health

Psychological issues that come with stress, alcohol and drug use are addressed alongside the addiction itself.

Young people (15+)

Many young people are affected by stress, alcohol and drugs. We welcome adolescents from 15 years old and help them overcome these challenges early.

Families

Our foundation is the family unit. We involve loved ones so that healing happens at home too.

Our approach

Your path through treatment

No two people arrive with the same story, so no two treatment plans are the same.

  1. 1

    First contact

You — or someone on your behalf — calls, sends a WhatsApp or fills in our confidential form. We listen, answer questions and explain the next steps. There's no obligation.

  2. 2

    Multidisciplinary assessment

Each client is assessed by a team of professionals. This includes a mental status examination — a careful look at things like body language, posture and speech — to understand how you are really doing.

  3. 3

    A personalised treatment plan

Our psychotherapist uses psychotherapeutic techniques tailored to each individual case. Your plan reflects your history, your challenges and your goals.

  4. 4

    In-house programme

You stay at the centre in a structured, supportive environment at Nubuamis Hills in Brakwater, on the quiet outskirts of Windhoek — away from daily triggers, with people around you who understand.

  5. 5

    Family involvement

Because our foundation is the family unit, loved ones are part of the journey — so that the whole household is equipped to support lasting recovery.

  6. 6

    Returning home, restored

The goal is simple: that you leave able to “be yourself” again — with tools, relationships and hope to carry forward.

Why in-house care

The value of a place set apart

Distance from triggers

Stepping away from the people, places and routines linked to drinking or drug use gives you room to focus fully on healing.

Structure & routine

A predictable daily rhythm helps restore balance to sleep, meals and emotions — the foundations recovery is built on.

Support around the clock

You're surrounded by people who understand what you're going through, so you never have to face a hard moment alone.

A sense of belonging

As one former client put it, “everyone was like family.” Connection is one of the strongest medicines there is.

Is it time to reach out?

You don't need to hit “rock bottom” to ask for help

If any of these feel familiar — for yourself or someone close to you — it may be a good time to talk to someone. Reaching out early often makes recovery easier.

  • Needing a drink or a substance to get through the day, relax or sleep
  • Trying to cut down or stop, and finding you can't
  • Drinking or using more, or more often, than you intended
  • Problems at work, school or home because of alcohol or drugs
  • Hiding how much you use from family and friends
  • Constant stress, anxiety or low mood that won't lift
  • Losing interest in things and people you used to love

Ready to talk? We're here 24/7.

One conversation can change the direction of a life. Reach out confidentially — for yourself or someone you love.
